Carols in the Village  2009

On the first Saturday in  December (5th) we hosted our third
Carols by Candlelight as a fundraiser for a nominated local charity.
$2600 was raised for the "Riding for the Disabled" (Hervey Bay)
For the first time we had the luxury of a full sound system.
This was funded by Tim Campion (Beachhouse Hotel) and operated by Venom Entertainment.
The number of visitors exceeded our expectations and was around 400.
Hervey Bay City Rotary organised the Sausage Sizzle and tea/coffee/cold drinks were available.
We ran out of sausages which will not happen next year.
